Jonathan SANBORN (1718 - ?) and his wife had 8 children. There is a conflict in the "authorities," however, as to the identity of Jonathan's wife. J. Dow, at pg. 949, calls her Priscilla (_____), then, at pg. 954, names her as Mary BATCHELDER, daughter of Benjamin. V. C. Sanborn, at pg. 107, identifies her as Priscilla BRYANT. Neither of them is reported as his wife, however, in Hampton's records (Sanborn and Sanborn, vols. 1 and 2), nor is his marriage. He did, however, have children, one of whom was a daughter named Priscilla, who (according to Hampton's records) was baptized in Hampton on 29 July 1744 and who married there on 22 November 1764. -- Dick Marston, NHROCKIN mail list, 320 subscribers.
