Might Theodate HOBBS who married Jeremiah BATCHELDER on 1 Mar 1739 be the daughter of Morris HOBBS III (Dow, History of Hampton, pg. 749, #VIII) who Dow says was born 31 July 1711 in (North?) Hampton, but who is not listed as having married? If so, she was named for her mother Theodate BATCHELDER (Pierce, pg. 121, #29).
