Many of you know of the Periodical Source Index (PERSI). Searching PERSI, I came up with this item: Locality: U.S. States, New Hampshire, Rockingham Record type: Biography Article Title: Exeter Families to Rhode Island Periodical: New England Historical and Genealogical Register Volume: 98 Number: 1 (January 1944) I have searched the NEHGR vol 98 and can't find this item. It must be an error in their indexing system. I checked volumes before and after 98, still no luck. I checked the indexes, no luck. Does any reader know what/where this "Exeter families to Rhode Island" is? Since it was mis-indexed, it could very well be in a periodical other than the NEHGR. Does anyone know why Exeter, NH families would migrate to Rhode Island? I ask because I have a great-great grandmother Eliza Ann BATCHELDER 1811-1887. I can not confirm her parentage. She was orphaned at a young age and ended up in Garland, Maine married to Josiah BARTLETT 1813-1893.
