Ebenezer(5) Clifford, (Samuel(4), Samuel(3), Israel(2), John(1)), b. Kensington, NH, 29 Oct. 1746, son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Gove) Clifford [NHVR], (although Kensington Church records give his date of baptism as 2 Nov. 1745). He lived in the old Gilman garrison in Exeter, NH and died in Exeter, 19 Oct. 1821, ae. 75. [Gravestone]. He married Anna Healy; they did not have a daughter Sally. This Ebenezer is the noted architect. He designed both houses and several significant public buildings during the Federal period. Ebenezer(5) Clifford, (John(4), John(3), Israel(2), John(1)), bapt. E. Kingston, NH, 28 Feb 1745 (1744/5 or 1745/6?), son of John and Elizabeth (Sleeper) Clifford [E. Kingston Church records]. He was of Salisbury, NH in 1776 when he served in the Revolution and signed the Association Test, and had removed to Alexandria by 1779 [Grafton, Deeds]. Johnathan's parents were Sherburne Tilton, born 1735 in Kensington, NH;died 1813 Wheelock,VT. His mother was Huldah Prescott, born 1735 in Kensington, NH;died 1823. I can give your more on the Prescott line if you wish. Sally and Johnathan had one child that I know of , Isaac.(1808-1885). Isaac married Lydia Jane Heath (1812-1881). They had a daughter Lucy A. Tilton, born 1845. She married Curtis Brown(1847-1871). They in turn had a daughter, Lora Edith (born in Bristol,NH.) She married Fred William Courser. Most of this came from DAR record # 107290.
