I have been working on this family and am hoping that someone may have some additional information. I have found many Fitzgeralds in Portsmouth and Exeter. The earliest person I have is Daniel Fitzgerald. He was born in 1765, supposedly in Gilmanton. At some point he moved to Limerick, Maine. Then is listed as a settler in Gilmanton in 1794. Now he couldn't possibly exist in a vacuum-if he was born in Gilmanton, his parents must be someplace in New Hampshire? or Maine, I suppose... Daniel died in Littleton. Thank you, Amy
