According to what I have pieced together, James Nelson was b abt 1729. I think this James is the one who married Hannah Kenniston of Newmarket on 1 Nov 1754 in Durham, NH. James had the following children, some of which moved to the Montpelier, VT area. I'm descended from the James b NH abt 1762 who I believe is the son of this James b abt 1729. Children: ?James Nelson b abt 1762 NH, d abt 1855 Calais, VT, m Hannah Dow 27 Aug 1785 in Deerfield, NH. Mark Nelson, b abt 1770 NH, m Polly Allen 6 Jul 1794 Montpelier, VT ?Jacob Nelson ?Nicholas Nelson Bathsheba Nelson, b 30 Jun 1755 Newmarket, NH, d18 Mar 1850, Epsom, NH, m Josiah Allen abt 1779, NH. He was b 31 May 1744 in Greenland, NH I'm descended Peter Nelson, b 10 Jul 1791 in Deerfield, NH, son of the James (b abt 1762) and Hannah (Dow) Nelson.
