Juluis Caesar Blodgett, wife Abigail Shaw and family. I find them in the 1850, 1860 & 1870 Cencus living in Kensington, Rockingham Co., N.H. He was a Bapist Minister, I believe. One of their daughters, Sarah Frances Blodgett married Albert A. Batcheler and they lived in Stratham. Sarah F. is my wife's great grandmother. Two of their daughters married: Maria Abigail md. Francis Hillard and Emma md. George a. Wiggin. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Chris

The Native Ministry of New Hampshire, p. 253 says: Julius Caesar Blodgett, Christian, son of Edward and Ruth (Kimball) Blodgett, was born March 6, 1806. Preparatory studies at Salisbury Academy. Ordained, Sanbornton, Jan. 20, 1831. Labored in Exeter, 1840-1; Newton, Franklin, Kensington and other places in and out of New England, 1831-78. Residence mostly Kensington. Editor of the Christian Herald, Exeter, 1845. Farmer, preaching occasionally, about 1850-78. Member of the New Hampshire Legislature, 1847-8 Died Kensington, Nov. 26, 1878. Married Abigail Cotton, daughter of Rev. Elijah and Lydia (True) Shaw, at Kensington, Sept. 31, 1834.
