My great great grandfather was Augustus Moore. The ony information we have on him thus far is that he was born 8/7/1828 in Stratham, NH and that he sailed to CA aboard the ship, Nestor, out of Boston in 1849, arriving in CA in June, 1850. He was an educated man, interested in books and learning and often was a community leader wherever he lived. Any help locating the family would be appreciated. Margaret Wells
