    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/iQB.2ACE/721.1.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: My husband is not only related to William C. White through his son Isaac who married Rebecca Tredick, but also through Mary C. White who married Thomas Beals and from there through CAroline Beals who married Joseph Yeaton. I have been working on the Jenkins family but no luck so far in finding Philadelphia's parents Barnabus Yeaton's parents were Richard Yeaton and Grace Bell. Grace had a brother Joseph and sister Abigail but I'm unsure who her parents were. Richard Yeaton's parents were Richard Yeaton and Margaret Crucy. Grace couldn't be a daughter of Shadrach and Rachel Bell as Shadrach died before 16 Sep 1723 or did you mean his son Shadrach. I'm not sure who his son married but I do know the son was alive in 1723. I'd be interested in your reference for Shadrach being the father of Grace How are our two families connected?

    3. I agree with Carol that the original "Shadrach & Rachel" BELL couple are much too early to have been Grace BELL's parents--even though there is a (totally undocumented) pedigree posted online that states this. This original couple did also have a son named "Shadrach", but I do not know his wife's name. If Grace married Barnabus YEATON in 1775, then she was probably born about 1754-1757--a bit of a stretch to even consider her this "Shadrach & Rachel"s granddaughter through a son Shadrach, I think. Although I am not completely certain who Grace's father was, I do have some further information about her family. Her brother, who was referred to as "Joseph BELL, *Jr.*, died in 1809, leaving his estate to his siblings and their heirs. [His father *may* have been a "Joseph BELL, *Sr.*, but sometimes the "Jr./Sr." titles didn't necessarily mean fatther/son but only older/younger in the same town]. The Death Notice of Joseph BELL, Jr. published in the "Columbian Centinal", newspaper was dated 31 May 1809 and gave his age at death as "45 years". If so, he would have been born about 1764. Rockingham Co, NH Probate Records, vol 39 (1808-1811), p75, #8125. FHL #16202 Will of Joseph BELL of New Castle, Mariner, dated 17 May 1809 and proved at Exeter 3 June 1809 Mentions: brother Shadrack BELL niece Elizabeth YEATON niece Margaret TREDICK heirs of sister Grace YEATON, deceased heirs of sister Abigail SMITH, deceased Estate included "my 1/2 of mansion house & land", 1/2 of Schooner "Sukey", and land in Barnet twp, Topham, Vermont. Executor = brother Shadrach BELL. Witnesses = Henry PRESCOTT, Hall J. LOCKE, Nathan PRIEST From the will we know that Grace (Bell) YEATON had siblings Joseph BELL Jr., Shadrack BELL, Abigail (Bell) SMITH and another sister (name unknown) who married a TREDICK. I have been working on the TREDICK family for a decade and the only marriage I know of between a Miss BELL and a Mr. TREDICK is the marriage of Lucretia BELL to William TREDICK on 12 Dec 1784. But Lucretia is believed to be the daughter of Meshach (Jr.) and Mary BELL and as far as I know she did not have a daughter Margaret.[Lucretia & William had a Mary, John, Jane, William, Lucretia, and Elizabeth--none of which are mentioned by Joseph BELL Jr. in the will]. If this same Lucretia is Grace's unnamed sister, then why didn't Joseph Jr. mention Lucretia's two known brothers--John and George BELL--also? I tend from this to think that Lucretia is *not* the mother of Joseph Jr.'s niece, Margaret TREDICK. Hope this helps a little bit. ~ Carolyn Depp ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, April 04, 2006 4:41 PM Subject: [NHROCKIN] Re: WHITE family of New Castle, New Hampshire > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/iQB.2ACE/721.1.1.1.1.1 > > Message Board Post: > > My husband is not only related to William C.
