4. The "Sarah AMAZEEN", b. 21 Oct 1782 who married Capt. Robert WHITE, Jr. on 13 Nov 1800. Probate documents for a "Joseph AMAZEEN" of Portsmouth, trader, who died about June 1824 indicate he had a dau who was the wife of "Richard NEAL", a son Nathaniel, and another daughter, "Sarah WHITE". This Joseph's (second?) wife at the time of his death was "Lydia" (prob. THOMPSON) My father in law and his sister did a lot of genealogical research over the years but usually didn't list sources. For Robert White they wrote: Robert White, Jr., m. Sarah/Sally Amazeen on 11-13-1800. Sally b. 10-21-1782 New Castle Volume 3. Sally's parents were Amazeen and Neal. Sally did have a son named Joseph A. , also George F. Abigail Neal, Robert, SArah N. Mehitable, Ann Maria, Elizabeth Ellis, Richard N. and Mary Jane N. Carol
