She was hanged in Salem, MA in 1692. She has been exonerated by name. She has been exonerated at least two other times but not by name. History: Susanna born in England, when young her mother died there and she came to America with her Father and stepmother. She married a blacksmith and had 8 children. They lived in Amesbury, MA. At the age of 71 she was hanged as a witch in Salem, MA in 1692. Her name has since been exonerated. (Salem Villa is now Danvers, Massachusetts) ------------------------------------------------ June 29-30, 1692: Rebecca Nurse, Susannah Martin, Sarah Wildes, Sarah Good, and Elizabeth Howe are tried, pronounced guilty and sentenced to hang.
