He was in Marblehead, Essex County, MA. by the 1850 census, but most likely by ca. 1843, as his first child was born then in MA. He named his children Charles N. Beede and Alice W. Beede, just in case he may have named them after his parents. Can anyone provide any further information about the parents and family origins of this man, with such limited information?
