His daughter, Elizabeth Toscan Parrot, was my grandmother. My mom says the Toscans are originally from France. About three years ago, I was contacted by Joanne Hill who was also looking up her family history and believed that a relative had stayed at the inn, in New Hampshire, owned by my great grandparents. She did a lot of research and actually sent me documents containing information about my Toscan family. If you contact her, she can probably give you more information.
