Ruth.... the parents of Eleanor Archibald are my 6th ggparents. My database shows that Eleanor m. William James Fisher, b. 1716 in Ireland. They m. in New Hampshire and then went with the families to Nova Scotia. I have been trying to track the parentage of an Agnes Fisher, b. 1840, m. Charles Cox, desc. of William Cox and Mary Smith of New Hampshire who also went to Nova Scotia. My question is whether Agnes Fisher, b. 1840 in Colchester County, New Hampshire is a desendant of William and Mary (Smith) Cox. I have a notation that Agnes' father's name may have been James. Thanks for any information on these families originally from Ireland to New Hampshire to Nova Scotia.
