    3. Susan, I didn't see your earlier notes so don't know in what time period your looking. According to "New Hampshire 1742 Estate List" by Pauline Johnson Oesterlin, there were five Boyd's in 1742 in NH. Arthur in Londonderry; Samuel in Litchfield; Samuel in Londonderry; Thomas in Hampton Falls (he's listed as Boid); Thomas in Londonderry. I was thinking it is possible he was from Londonderry because of the info in "The Blair Family of New England" by Emily Wilder Leavitt. In this book p.23 is information on the Rev. William Boyd who left northern Ireland (Londonderry) with many people in five ships in 1718, for Boston, MA, they soon settled in Londonderry, NH. Also, in "Notices From The New Hampshire Gazette, 1765-1800" by Otis G. Hammond, p. 173 "1800, May 6, Isaac Boyd of Londonderry, NH, was drowned Apr 28, 1800 at Portsmouth, NH in his 29th year his brother William was rescued." Hope some of this is of help to you.
