Acordin to a cousin I just found has a journal of my aunts which states Leo Hoffman aka Sullivan was adopted in Nasua NH. Is there anyone in the area that might be able to check old court records for me. His adoptive parents were John Francis Hoffman and Catherine Durgin of Portland, Maine. I have checked the Portland Courthouse however all records were destroyed by fire about 1910. Any help would be appreciated.
