Hi Bonnie, Thank you so much for the advice. I have just been lost, I looked at everything I could find on Exeter and Newmarket around that time period and could not find a blasted thing except in the land records and the 1806 & 1807 tax records. As big as the Smart's and Hilton's were I really thought there would be more on them. Again thank you so very much. I really appreciate your kindness and all thoughts.. That he was probably the ancestor of your John, is very probable. The Hilton family was in the same vicinity, so this might just be a case of track down, not up, the genealogy chart. Sometimes, it works. There are many records of the early immigrants, and that might be a clue. Just a thought, Bonnie ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> To: <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Sent: Wednesday, October 18, 2006 8:45 AM Subject: Re: [NHROCKIN] George & Patty/Martha (Smart) Mace, paupers,of Raymond > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: HILTON, SMART > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/iQB.2ACE/717.2.1.1<http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/iQB.2ACE/717.2.1.1> > > Message Board Post: > > Thanks for the info.
