    1. Re: gravestone for Isaac Lane, died at 8 years old, 1757
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Lane Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/iQB.2ACE/665.1.1 Message Board Post: Dear Al: Thanks for your reply and kind remarks. The following info was sent to me by a Dick Marston. (Dick Marston, Compiler: Marston Family & Hampton, N.H., Genealogies, http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=Dick-Marston&I11.x=41&I11.y=8 http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=hampton-nh Administrator: MARSTON Mail List [[email protected]]) Isaac was born and died in Chester. His three younger siblings were all born there, too. Chances are excellent that he was buried there, or very nearby. The town clerk should be able to give you the number, names and locations of the local cemeteries. See: http://www.chesternh.org/ for Chester's website. See: http://www.chesternh.org/churches.htm for Chester's churches. If he isn't buried in Chester, another possibility might be Rye where his family lived [and his older siblings were born] before they moved to Chester. Al: If you are in the neighborhood and decide to visit the cemetery, that'd be great. Clearly, I'm closing in on this. I look forward to the day when I can return Isaac's gravestone and introduce myself. I am greatful to you both and will follow up. Thanks so much.
