I found him and his family in the 1790 and 1800 Duxbury, Mass census. I would like to know if this is the same Abel Chandler and family in the Londonderry 1810 census. He may have had two daughters who either married on died in Londonderry. He died in Minot, Maine in 1812. I think he was the father of my ggg-grandmother, Rebecca, who married in Minot, Maine, but I am still seeking documentation. If anyone has any info about him or other Chandlers that could be his family, I would appreciate it if you would let me know.
Hi, I am going to the NH Vital Records in Concord on Sept 8th. I would be happy to look up the death of Eulalia Winship if that would be helpful. Are you familiar with the NH VRs? Briefly, during the early 1900s the State asked the town clerks to transcribe their records onto 3x8 cards. These cards are filed at the State Vital Records somewhat alphabetically, state-wide by event. I can look up births to 1900, and marriages, deaths, and notices of divorces to 1947. (These are the same records that the state searches if you send them $12/name/event!) I am always glad to do 2 or 3 lookups for anyone when I go. If that would be helpful, let me know. There was a Hoskins line who came from Ireland and went to Taunton, MA. and then spread to CT. and N.H. Does anyone know of any Hoskins of N.H. going to Nova Scotia, Canada before 1770? I have a John Huskins/Hoskins/Haskins who was in New Dublin, Nova Scotia during the 1770 census and most likely was there in the 1760's when the town was formed. Before 1783, he had moved to Green Harbour in Shelburne, Nova Scotia and seemed to follow the path of McNutt, who brought alot of N.H. settlers to New Londonderry and New Dublin in Nova Scotia in the 1760's. Can anyone help me with this? Jean Mayo [email protected]

Hello, I am looking for information on the family of Nathan and Abigail W.(Capen) Batchelder, Jr. Nathan Batchelder and Abigail W. Capen were married 23 Dec 1834 at Dunstable MA, in the area now in Nashua NH (Dunstable VR, 113). Abigail was born about 1796 in Cambridge MA, daughter of Jonathan and Abigail (Warren) Capen. Nathan and Abigail lived in Nashua for a while, but by 1840 Nathan was living in Londonderry, where I presume he was born. By 1840 Nathan had also apparently remarried and had a child. Nathan died 11 June 1843 at Londonderry in his 37th year (The Farmer's Cabinet of 21 July 1843, Vol 41, Issue 48, page 3). Although Nathan died in Londonderry, he was buried in the North Burying Ground in Dorchester MA. Some time after the 1834 marriage, Nathan's wife Abigail died or they were divorced, and he married again. I wish to know the date of the death or divorce of Abigail (Capen) Batchelder. I assume that it occured sometime between 1834 and 1837. I am also interested in the name of his second wife, their marriage date and any information on their child. Thanks for any help offered.
