They had 3 children, all boys. John or Jack (my father), Vincent and Paul. They moved back and forth from Hampton Beach to Rye, NY. At some point, I don't recall the exact year, they moved back to Hampton Beach full time. They sold the apartment house they owned across from the beach and my grandmother (Maude) lived in a small house next door until her death. Hope that helps. James B. Bann

    3. Hi Richard, Last week I took a "Sunday drive" on Wednesday to visit Lyndeboro, NH, and found Lyndeboro Center (vs. South Lyndeboro where an aunt and uncle used to live). I wanted to know what mountains you could see from the cemetery there, and found a book in the Library: "Hiking the Monadnock Region," by Joe Adamowicz I posted a lot more information on the NH and Hillsboro Lists this morning, but I just thought I'd mention here that Chapter 13 in this book (small paperback) is about: "Greenfield - French Roads" (in Lyndeboro). Now that you have mentioned the French Village in Wilton, I'm wondering about the origin of French Road in Lyndeboro. In this chapter, it offers a few details about Wilton ! This is one of the comments on the back cover of the book, "A lovely blend of local history, botany, geology, and ornithology ......" (I think there were about a half-dozen books on hiking in the Monadnock Mountains mentioned in the on-line catalog of my local Library.) Betty (near Lowell, MA) P.S. My other aunt reminded me on Friday that it was Eugene and Louise MUZZEY who lived in (or next door to) the "former old gas station and general store" in South Lyndeboro (1950's). I had thought it was her parents, but was reminded that Herbie FRANCIS worked there after he was widowed, and then remarried there. And, I thought Aunt Louise was buried in Lyndeboro, but was told on Friday she was buried in the MUZZEY plot in Greenfield ! ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, December 10, 2005 4:48 PM Subject: Re: NHROCKIN-D Digest V05 #155 > There is a neighborhood in Wilton, Hillsborough, NH named French Village > for > the factory owned by the French family that used to exist there.
