    3. Would you like to tell us who? and time frame? It's really difficult to locate a person, if you don't know who you are looking for! Obviously you don't know the rules. Name, date, time frame, area. etc. The more information received the better the result. 1. [NHROCKIN] Fw: NEHGS Used Books
    2. New England Genealogy Detective
    3. Hello All, Here is a list of used books being offered by New England Historical & Genealogical Society. Prices are very good if your were looking for something. Just wanted to pass it on to give everyone a chance to check them out. Cheryl ----- Original Message ----- From: Park, Rick To: New England Genealogy Detective Sent: Wednesday, September 27, 2006 3:41 PM Subject: RE: Used Books NEHGS USED BOOK SALE CONDITION OF BOOKS The titles listed below are used books. While there is some variation in the condition of the book, all titles are in relatively good condition, with some being pristine and others being "gently used". Some of the titles are original copies of these books, while others are reprints of the originals. Almost all have the cataloging numbers printed on the spine, as well as either a stamp from NEHGS or an NEHGS barcode somewhere on the inside cover. Some of the NEHGS Registers also have a library stamp on the top of the book. The prices of these titles have been determined by taking into account the condition of the books as well as their estimated value to genealogists. HOW TO ORDER Books available in sales like these tend to go very quickly. If there is something you are interested in, we advise you to call ASAP! Orders for any books below must be placed by phone by calling 1-617-226-1212 or 1-617-536-5740, extension 212 (if you reach a voice mail, please leave your name and number and someone will get back to you). All items below are hardbound unless otherwise noted. We have extremely limited quantities for most of these items and orders will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis. Once the available on-hand stock has run out, we will no longer be offering the item at the listed sale price. If you call and reach a voicemail, please leave your name and number and what book(s) you are looking for (the voicemail will time stamp your message so that we know who requested a book first). The prices below do NOT include shipping. Shipping costs are either $4.00 (book rate shipping) or $6.50 (UPS/First Class) for the first item and $2.00 for each additional item. 1. [NHROCKIN] Leavitt Families
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/iQB.2ACE/761 Message Board Post: Hi Joan Their are 2 Family Associations on line for the Leavitt family. One is in NH and one in Utah. I belong to both, as I descend from many Leavitt's. Just type "Leavitt Family Association" into your search engine, and I am sure you will find them. If not, get back to me and I will see what I can find. "Mary" is such a common name, that it is really difficult to pinpoint sometimes. Bonnie (descendant of Samuel Leavitt Baker and Ann Eliza Leavitt) among a lot of others <g>
