I know I'm taking a chance that the name "Archibald" could have no connection to the Archibalds of Londonderry; however, I have just about exhausted other possibilities. The name "Archibald" in this line seems to pop up for no good reason (that I can find). This Archibald was in Harwinton CT and Monterey MA. He married Charlotte Pegnam Watkins and one of their daughters married into the Thomas Richards line of Hartford CT. Do you have the names of the Archibald brothers who did not migrate to NS? Again, thank you so very much. Ann

    2. Ruth.... the parents of Eleanor Archibald are my 6th ggparents. My database shows that Eleanor m. William James Fisher, b. 1716 in Ireland. They m. in New Hampshire and then went with the families to Nova Scotia. I have been trying to track the parentage of an Agnes Fisher, b. 1840, m. Charles Cox, desc. of William Cox and Mary Smith of New Hampshire who also went to Nova Scotia. My question is whether Agnes Fisher, b. 1840 in Colchester County, New Hampshire is a desendant of William and Mary (Smith) Cox. I have a notation that Agnes' father's name may have been James. Thanks for any information on these families originally from Ireland to New Hampshire to Nova Scotia. Archibald was/is a relatively common first name, and wouldn't necessarily indicate a relationship with families with the same surname. At that time it's likely he lived in Greenland NH (or Rye, or New Castle)as all the proprietors did. I'm thinking this George may be George Keniston born abt 1760, Greenland, NH., who married Elizabeth King m abt 1724. Is anyone researching this line? He would be s/o George/Bridget and gs/o John/Agnes. There is no other mention of George. By 1771/1790 Nathaniel Kenneson=Elizabeth Clark at the only Kennestons(varied spellings) in town. Is anyone researching this line?
