Hello Kathy, There is quite a lot of TUTTLE/DINSMORE information in the "History of Antrim..." by Cochrane. Page 721 shows: "2. Jonas W. (b. in Acton, MA 31 Dec 1807; m. Mary DINSMORE of Antrim, 20 Feb 1834 and moved to Newbury, VT in 1840, where he is now a prominent citizen. Their children were b. first three in Antrim and last three in Newbury: - Edwin b. 03 Oct 1834 m. 2nd Mary TEMPLE and lives in Newbury, VT. His 1st wife was Ruth WHITCHER. Mary E. b. 22 Jan 1838; m. Wm. BUCHANAN, 12 Mar 1857 and lives in Boston. Susan D. b. 19 Dec 1889 m. Walter BUCHANAN 30 Nov 1858 and lives in Newbury, VT. Samuel b. 26 Oct 1841 m. Rebecca CARUTH and lives in Newbury, VT. Clarissa b. 19 Aug 1844 m. Nathan A. HUNTER d. recently in her native town. Silas M. b. 16 Jan 1851 m. Ella M. MALOON and lives in Grinnell, IA" Page 720: "Jonas was the son of Samuel TUTTLE, grandson of Samuel and Betsey BAKER TUTTLE of Acton, MA and a connection of Hon. Jacob TUTTLE it is believed, came to Antrim from Temple in 1816 and bought the farm in High Range cleared by Alexander WITHERSPOON. Mr. Tuttle m. Mary W. WRIGHT of Concord, MA in Sept 1805 and they lived on this farm until their death, when it was occupied several years by their son, Wm. N. TUTTLE. The parents of Samuel TUTTLE came to live with him and were here several years before their death. His father, Samuel TUTTLE, Sr. died 25 Feb 1829 aged 70 and his mother Mrs. Betsey TUTTLE died 29 Sep 1834 aged 72. Samuel Tuttle Jr. died 10 Sep 1854 aged 73 and his widow died 02 Dec 1859 aged 75. The TUTTLE page run from page 717 through page 722. The DINSMORE are found on page 453 through 457. Mary was born 22 Sep 1810 and m. Jonas W. Tuttle 20 Feb 1834. She was the daughter of Samuel DINSMORE who died in 1822 and his 2nd wife Mary PARKE of Windham.
