I am seeking information and William and Mary Whiting of Merrimack. Their daughter, Ruth Sophia Whiting Johnson Carkin was said [death certificate] to have been born in Merrimack in 1805. The record is not there. However, two children were born to William and Mary at Merrimack, William and Asa Thomson, in 1811 & 1812. Inventory and tax lists from the town records show that the Whitings appeared in Merrimack in 1805. I have no idea how this William was connected to the other Whitings and I don't know who Mary was.
