Please join us on September 26: New Hampshire Society of Genealogists will hold its Fall meeting in Concord, NH on Saturday, September 26 at the Holiday Inn. Featured speaker at the meeting will be Dean Crawford Smith. Dean Smith has been one of the primary supporters of the Great Migration Study Project and is currently Vice President of New England Historic Genealogical Society. Dean has researched and authored (with Melinde Lutz Sanborn) three books on his family genealogy: The Ancestry of Samuel Blanchard Ordway [1990], The Ancestry of Emily Jane Angell [1993], and The Ancestry of Eva Belle Kempton [1996]. The Angell book has been the recipient of several awards which have recognized its excellence among genealogy publications. Dean will be speaking to the society regarding his experience researching and publishing his family history: "Compiling a Multi-Family Genealogy".
