    3. Vickie, There are several Blood families mentioned in the town history of Merrimack NH. The earliest was Nathaniel Blood. He was one of 26 men who petitioned Massachusetts for land in 1673. The land later became the town of Dunstable. The total landgrant was 128,00 acres and covered a good deal of southern NH. There is no listing for a Lois Blood but a Elnathan Blood had children in Dunstable in 1749 and 1751. If Lois was married around this time, it may have been a brother. Hope this is of some use.
