I have seen references to a Lois BLOOD marrying Jonathan POWERS in the late 1740s, but I've never found the actual marriage record. Some have said that this couple has a son named John born in 1748 in Dunstable MA, but the Vital Records say his parents were Jonathan and Elizabeth POWERS. If they really did marry, did Lois and Jonathan have any children? Was Lois the daughter of James and Catherine BLOOD of Groton MA? According to Groton VR, it looks like this Lois BLOOD married Abraham PARKER in Pepperell 10 Mar 1749. Was there another Lois BLOOD? Anyway, if someone can provide me with sources for Lois and Jonathan's marriage I'd be very grateful. I really doubt that it took place, but I just want to check out all leads. Thanks.
