From: Families of Cavendish, Volume 3, published by the Cavendish Historical Society, Nov, 1998. -- Nathaniel Blood (3) {Richard (2), James (1)}, was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, 3 April, 1650. He m. 13 June, 1670 Hannah Parker (b. 5 Jan., 1647, dau. of James & Elizabeth (Long) Parker). Children (at least): 1. Anna, b. 1 March, 1671. She m. 1693, James Blanchard (b. Chelmsford 10 March, 1666, son of John & Elizabeth (Hills) Blanchard of Dunstable). They lived in Groton. Mr. Blanchard was a member of the snowshoe expedition to Lake Winnepesaukee, commanded by Capt. William Tyng. He took sick and d. of exposure from that expedition at Charlestown, 8 Feb., 1704. Widow Anna petitioned the Governor and Council to be relieved from the charges of the funeral. 2. Nathaniel, b. 16 Jan., 1679, m. 25 Dec., 1710 Hannah Shattuck (b. Watertown, 1690, dau. of William & Hannah (Underwood) Shattuck). Children (born Groton): 1. William, b. 13 Dec., 1711, m. 11 Feb., 1736 Martha Lawrence. He died at Crown Point, NY, 6 Nov., 1759 2. Nathaniel, b. 9 May, 1714, m. -- Sarah---. He died in Hollis, NH 11 Nov., 1782. Children (born Hollis, NH): 1. Nathaniel, b. 23 March, 1741 2. Daniel, b. 4 March, 1743 3. Sarah, b. 18 March, 1745 4. Nathan, b. 4 April, 1747, m. 16 April, 1772, Elizabeth Noyes. He was killed at the Battle of Bunker Hill, 17 June, 1775. 5. Francis, b. 16 June, 1749 6. William, b. 12 Nov., 1751 7. Timothy, b. 15 Oct., 1754 3. Elnathan, b. 5 Sept., 1717, m. Elizabeth Boynton [see Boynton] 4. Benjamin, b. 22 Aug., 1719, m. Westford, Mass., 29 May, 1756, Eunice Gilson (b.
