I recently found this will, and until then never knew we had ancestors in N.H. I knew we had several in N.J., VA, WV and PA. I don't know the history of N.H. At one time was it one of the other states I mentioned? Or vice versa? Is anyone else searching for the Scobey family? Or the Barretts? Nancy Barrett, daughter of John Barrett married John Scoby...both were born in VA. I see that John Barrett (probably), witnessed this will. Other names in this are SAMUEL HO-GE (HOGUE?
