I, David Scobey of Francestown in the county of Hillsborough and state of New Hampshire being weak in body and of a sound and disposing mind and memory considering the uncertainty of this life and being desirous to settle my worldly estate in manner following to wit, Firstly I give and bequeath and devise unto Susanah Scobey my beloved wife, all my estate which I may posess at my deceas in the following manner as is hereinafter provided; that the said Susanah shall use and improve the said property and if necesary for her support & comfortable maintainance to appropriate such portion of the property afforesaid as may be necessary for her support as aforesaid during her life and whatever portion of my said property may remain at the deceas of my said wife to be disposed of in the following manner to wit 2 I give and bequeath and devise to my daughter Jane Smith one bed & beding suitable for the same with bedsted and (----d) and fifty dollars to be delivered & paid by my executor in three months after the deceas of Susannah my wife and thirdly the residue of my said property after discharging all the just claims which may be against said estate at my deceas or the deceas of my said wife I give bequeath and devise to my daughters Mary C--hran Jane Smith Susanah Gay Patty (McAlwan?) to be equally devided between them by my executor in three months after the deceas of my said wife Susanah forthly and lastly I hereby nominate constitute and appoint Samuel Houge (Hoege?)
