Greetings, Hillsboro people. I am looking for the parents of a John SLEEPER, b 26 Oct 1786, who m Lydia Dodge at Francestown, Hillsboro Co., supposedly on 25 Jul 1809. Lydia Dodge was b 16 Feb 1790, and d 25 Jan 1862. I have parentage on Lydia, but John Sleeper is a blank. According to _Genealogy of the Dodge Family_ (Joseph Thompson Dodge, 1894) John Sleeper was "a successful farmer in Francestown, N.H." If anyone has a good source or citation for John Sleeper's parents I would be very happy to hear of it. I have found an assortment of general info on the Sleeper family, but can't find this John.
