Looking for more info on Jonathan POWERS and Bridget _______ of Dunstable and Hollis NH. Does anyone have more info on his parents? What was Bridget's maiden name? Where were they married? Bridget was born in 1729 and died in 1763 in Hollis NH. I have seen her tombstone, which is next to that of two infants born to Jonathan and his second wife, Susannah WILLOUGHBY, whom Jonathan married in 1764. Jonathan was on the 1790 census of Dunstable NH, but then I lose track of him. I am descended from their son, Jonathan POWERS Jr., who was born in 1759 in Dunstable NH and died in 1840 in Lowell VT. Jonathan Jr. married his first cousin, Rebecca WOODS. He fought in the Revolutionary War. He lived in Dunstable NH, Weathersfield VT, Concord VT, Kirby VT, and Lowell VT. I believe that Jonathan was the son of Jonathan POWERS and Elizabeth KIDDER, who ended up in Mason NH. However, I lack concrete proof of this.
