Hi I have a Hugh Kilday who was naturalized in 1875. His papers state he resided in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was 32 years old. Is there someone who could look up the census records for 1870. He had a wife Mary and a child John born 1864. This is confusing because the child was born in Manchester but the parents resided in Shirley, Massachusetts. Did New Hampshire do state census as Massachusetts did.. example 1855, 1865 etc. Thank you for any help. Ann
