Hi Karen: I believe that your ancestors and my husband's connect. His great grandfather was Horace Piper, son of Francis Piper and Abigail Goodnow (or Goodins or Goodnoe.) I do not know of other children. My papers are in CT where I live in the summer, but I recall that Francis and Abigail were married in Boston. I tracked down the church but could not get info on their records. Horace was born in Sterling MA and Abigail died in Sterling in 1866. Hope some of this helps. I have Francis Pipers ancestors.
