    3. Could someone tell me about the cemetery on Meetinghouse Hill off Route 31 in Antrim? Is there a list of graves for this cemetery? I am researching my ancestor Samuel Nichols who moved from Co. Antrim Ireland to New Hampshire. Samuel and his wife are said to be buried at the "old cemetery on the hill" which I've been told by another descendant is Meetinghouse Hill. I'd like to verify this for my records. - --------------------------------- Samuel Nichols, b. abt. 1720 in Ireland, died in 1804. His wife, Mary Ann, b. abt. 1722, died sometime around 1804. Samuel joined his four sons, Thomas, Daniel, Adam, & John in the town of Antrim before he died. 1. Samuel Nichols was born in Co. Antrim, Ireland 1714-1720. Samuel died 1804 in Antrim, Hillsborough, New Hampshire. Source: "History of the Town of Antrim, New Hampshire, From Its Earliest Settlement, To June 27, 1877, with a brief Genealogical Record of all the Antrim Families." By. Rev. W. R. Cochrane, Pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Published by the Town. Manchester, NH, Mirror Steam Printing Press. 1880. His wife was probably Mary Ann ? who he married in County Antrim, Ireland, before 1745. It is thought that she was Mary Ann Templeton possible sister to Adam Templeton of Ireland & New Hamsphire although no proof has been found. Samuel Nichols had the following children per Cochrane's book: + 2 i. Daniel Nichols b. abt. 1745.Daniel died March 3, 1812 Antrim, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire. + 3 ii. Thomas Nichols was born May 16, 1751. . Thomas died June 27, 1810 in New York. + 4 iii. Adam Nichols was born 1754. Adam died Nov. 1847 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Adam married Ruth Atwood in Hillsborough, New Hampshire, May 4, 1786. (Source: Marriage record on hand.) + 5 iv. John Nichols was born 1759. . John died 1812 Cattaraugus. It is possible that there is an older brother, Samuel. A Samuel Nichols is mentioned in Cochrane's history of Francestown as being a possible brother or cousin to the 4 Nichols brothers in Antrim. I'd appreciate any help with more information about this family especially the burial place of Samuel and his wife. Sincerely, Gwen Brooks
