Hello, I have just subscribed to this list & am looking for help with verifying the ancestry of my gt gt grandmother, Catherine LUND GIBBS. I posted the message below this morning on the Hillsborough Query Forum as well as on the LUND board at Genconnect. I have already found the two histories of Dunstable that give detailed accounts of the early Lund family and now I'm trying to verify the connection between my Catherine Lund & them beyond what the LDS site shows. My gt gt grandmother was Catherine Lund, b. 8/14/1817 in Nashua, Hillsboro Co., NH & d near Kinmundy, Fayette Co. IL, 1875. This is from an old family Bible, but I also found her in an IGI record on the LDS familysearch.org site & from there pieced together IGI records which, if verifiable, runs like this from her back: Catherine Lund b. 1817 < Isaac Lund & Abigail ? < Jonathan Lund m. Priscilla Cummings < Cpt. Jonathan Lund b. 12 Oct 1717 d. 29 Nov 1801 m. Jane or Jean Varnum < Thomas Lund b. 9 Sept 1682, d. 16 Jan 1712 m. Elizabeth Taylor b. 7 Aug. 1690, d. 23 Aug 1763.
