Josiah was the first to move from Concord MA to New Ipswich. There were also four other Brown families in New Ipswich: descended from Abraham of Ipswich MA; John of Ipswich;Jonathan of Westminster MA; and Joshua of Coventry CT. I have a Hannah Eliza Brown b. Nov. 19, 1843, dau of Hermon (Aaron6, Josiah5 ...etc) and Sophronia, dau of Samuel Potter and Elizabeth (Brown) Prescott. There was also an Elizabeth b. 1776 to Ebenezer a desc. of Jphn Brown. No others in a quick skim of Chandler's History of New Ipswich. I remember a discussion of Browns in Francestown a few months ago on some board -- perhaps not this one.
