Henry HALE m. Jerusha POWERS 1 Jan 1788 in Dunstable, Hillsborough Co. NH. She was born in 1763 to Jonathan and Bridget POWERS. Was this Henry the one who was christened in Newbury, Essex Co. MA 17 Jan 1762, son of John HALE? I have seen it written, although undocumented, that they moved to Corinth, Orange Co. VT. If the man who appears on the 1800 Corinth VT census is really this Henry HALE, then they had two sons born 1791-1800. He does seem to disappear from NH after the 1790 census. An undocumented source says that Henry and Jerusha had another son named Alden ca 1803 or 1804 in Corinth. This source also says that Henry died in 1816 in Corinth and Jerusha died there in 1815. I plan on checking probate records because someone would have been appointed guardian of the minor children. But in the meantime, can anyone help verify this info? I appreciate any help.
