Greetings, all. I am looking for the parents of a John SLEEPER, b 26 Oct 1786 (place uncertain), m 25 July 1809 at Francestown, New Hampshire, Lydia DODGE (b 16 Feb 1790). I have checked GENDEX and FamilySearch and find nothing. John's birthdate comes from the Dodge Genealogy, where he is described as a successful farmer in Francestown with 10 children. SLEEPER is a well-known name on the MA/NH border, and this John is certainly part of that family, but I haven't been able to link him up to the rest. Any info will be welcome. Many thanks.
