I have in my possession photographs taken of Oliver and Mary (POWERS) WOODS. They were taken probably in the early 1850s. On the back of the photos are the words "Powers Studio, Lisbon N.H." Mary POWERS was b. 1796 in Weathersfield, Windsor Co. VT to Jonathan Jr. and Rebecca (WOODS) POWERS. Mary and her husband Oliver were first cousins and married in Kirby, Caledonia Co. VT, just across the river a ways from Lisbon NH. Their families were originally from Dunstable NH and migrated to VT after the Rev War. Does anyone know who ran the Lisbon NH studio? Was this family connected to Jonathan POWERS Jr. (son of Jonathan and Bridget POWERS of Dunstable NH)? Or was this just a coincidence? Vickie Elam White
