I am a Jewell descendant and have researched the line back to Thomas Jewell born about 1608 in Kingston, Surry, England. I have a Polly born 1749 to John Jewell and Hannah Lancaster but she married aTewkesbury in Sandwich, NH. I have no information on Benoni and Dorcas Jewell but if you know the parents maybe I can help you. I'm sure they are all descended from Thomas who came from England in 1635. The NH Historical Socitey has a book " The Jewell Register" by Pliny Jewell and Rev. Joel Jewell (not documented) published in 1860. They also have a "Jewell Register Supplement" by Jennings Bland Pope published in 1981 (documented). There is also information in "Planters of the Commonwealth" by Banks; Chelmsford Vital Records; "Annals of Mendon, MA." and "The Complete Book of Emigrants" 1607-1776.
