    3. Hello Art, There is a map of the area included in "Old Dunstable" on my web site for Hollis, NH at http://home.att.net/~mensch-family/HollisNH.htm . This may help you to see the area which was once part of Dunstable. Prior to ca. 1741, many residents of the area which is now within Hillsborough County, NH considered themselves residents of Middlesex county, Massachusetts. However, I believe the boundaries were drawn prior to the 1790 census. If I am remembering correctly ca. 1748 many of the early residents were given grants from the New Hampshire colony after the boundary dispute was finally settled. Though much of the original territory was lost, the town of Dunstable, Massachusetts still exists. There is a basic information site for Dunstable, MA at http://www.magnet.state.ma.us/dhcd/iprofile/081.HTM . You may also find "Massachusetts Local History <-> Genealogy" at http://home.att.net/~Local_History/MA_History.htm of interest. I hope this helps.
