Hi Derick! I tried to reply to you directly but your e-mail bounced. I am very interested in Hartshorns. My ancestors were Hartshorns of Amherst, NH. How can I join the Hartshorn list? Thanks, Shirley
My HARTSHORN ancestors came to Amherst about 1746 and stayed until the civil war. Many more Hartshorns came from Reading, Mass. and settled in Milford, Lyndeboro, Bedford and surrounding areas. Anyone having this line and wishing to discover more, please write. If you have any information, I would like to obtain it, particularly references to HARTSHORN in original documents. Thanks. --Derick S. Hartshorn listowner, HARTSHORN-L

Hi Everyone, Though I've been seriously researching our family's history & genealogy for more than 15 years, I'm a newbie to the internet. I've just placed a page up for Temple, NH. Right now the 1790 Census for Temple, & Henry Ames Blood's Vital Records are there. I will be adding to the info as I learn more about this web stuff, & get feedback. I will welcome suggestions. He married Mary BOYDEN in Corinth VT in 1801 and had children:Asa, Charlotte, John, William,Mary, Esther, Nancy and Rebecca. He died about 1814 from illness contracted in War of 1812. Was he related to following: Vol 4 Probate records (NH State Papers, Vol 34), p. 350 "William GORDON of Londonderry, 1753, wife Martha children John, Robert, Mary, and Samuel" (reference supplied by Mariana Bean Ruggles - thanks Mariana).
