    3. This is a bit off-topic, and I apologize, in advance, to anyone who takes umbrage with this message. Please feel free to hit your "DELETE" button, now. If all the mail lists grow somber and quiet, in the face of highly publicized tragedies, such as this latest one of JFK, Jr., might the web be a barometer, of sorts, of our worldwide collective empathy? It unites us in our stunned grief, and reflects the horror we all feel, that such a thing could happen, yet again. Individually, and collectively, we understand that we are each touched, and diminished, in some small way, by this loss. The web helps us to enunciate what we feel. Julie Hesson <genpub@iolinc.net>

    1. Re: [NHHILLSB-L] Census Lookup Offer for Mary E. Roy
    2. Hi K. O'Brien, I am looking for any information on a Mary E. Wallace who married Orrin S. Roy in Kalamazoo, MI Dec. 31, 1861. I have been told that a Mary E. Roy has been found in the 1880 Michigan census but I don't know what information is available on her. Does it tell if she is still married to Orrin or if their are any children? Could you help me find out what information is found on the 1880 and maybe the 1900 census. Thank you for you assistance. Mike Wallace
