Dear Janet, I am so glad you are working on this. Please let me know if you receive any interesting feedback. Lucy Bancroft Gray (it says Grey on her tombstone) died in Weston, VT in 1815. She is buried in the Weston Island Cemetery beside Margaret's and Henry's youngest child, John Billy Gray. I visited Lucy's grave a few years ago -- no Dr. Joseph to be seen. I wonder if he is also buried there but unmarked. The MD Raymond book states that Dr. Joseph died in Quebec, Canada. Interesting, isn't it? I will see if I have a picture of Lucy's grave. If so, I will have one made for you. Sincerely, Ann

Hi, We're lucky to have found a photo of my wife's grandfather (Omer Valliere) in a military uniform, in theory it should be from around 1910-1914. Can anyone help us identify it? Its at: http://www.tiac.net/users/twortley/ov.jpg The photo was taken in Manchester, but we are confused as to how quickly he could achieve a rank of sergeant, because by the time he married in 1915 in Fitchburg, Mass, he was only 28 and a machinist in the factories there. I have the following: (1) a WILLIAM HOPKINS signed the list to affirm lots drawn up for Tying Township (a division of Durham) in 1746 (2) ANNA POWERS(born 9 March 1731) married BENJAMIN HOPKINS of Milford. Anna is daughter of CAPT. PETER POWERS and ANNA KEYES, first settlers of Hollis, NH. She is considered the first white child of the settlement. from " History of Old Dunstable" pg. 230, 249. Hope this helps, Colin B.
I think I have posted this query before, but new things and people turn up from time to time so I thought I'd ask again. Can anyone identify the parents of a Rebecca HOPKINS who m. 20 April 1775 (a busy day!) at Hollis, NH, Caleb BLOOD? She d. 11 May 1810, and he d 23 Feb 1813. They apparently lived in the Hollis/Dunstable area near the NH/MA border. The above information comes from Roger Harris' _The Story of the Bloods_. A search of GENDEX and FamilySearch turns up nothing. Many thanks. Bob O'Hara (rjohara@uncg.edu) Genealogy page: http://rjohara.uncg.edu/gen.html

I am sorry to say that I personally am not researching either of these surnames, but you will find information on my site to help you with your research. You are also most welcome to submit your name to the Mason Researcher's page, and check it out as well as there may be others already listed for your surnames. I have a number of Mason History books and have run across Abijah EATON's name many times. I am sure you have discovered this too in your search for him. Do check out my web site. There are a few Abijah Eatons that I have tucked away in notes. Not many. Could you give me a little more info as to town or date or children? Gladys http://community.webtv.net/sassypup/GLADYSWEBPAGEABOUT
