    3. Hi...I'm trying to identify the parents of Rebecca Roberts who married Richard Hovey,17 Dec 1789, at Peterborough, Hillsboro, NH. Richard was born 4 Feb 1762 at Boxford,Essex, MA, and died 3 Sep 1838 at Peterborough. I have no other info on Rebecca and would appreciate any help. Thanks, Dick Brown

    3. Here is the site where you can find the Association Test and many other informative items. http://members.xoom.com/tfeeney/downloads.html Tom Moffatt wrote: > I am wondering if anyone has a copy of the 1776 Association Test list? 3. I am wondering if anyone has a copy of the 1776 Association Test list? I have one somewhere, but cannot locate it! I am looking for the locations of JOHN SMITH individuals. In the family there was a son JOHN SMITH born supposedly 1751, so there may be two in one location. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tom Moffatt

    3. Thank you for your offer. I don't have access to that book. I would be interested in the text concerning the Reverend if it wouldn't be any trouble to forward the information. I didn't realize there was one that covered the entire county. I have read excerpts from histories of Antrim, Francestown, & Weare where my relatives lived but I had not discovered that there was a history of the county itself. Is it very informative regarding families in Hillsborough? I might want to consider an interlibrary loan if it would be helpful for me in learning more about the Atwoods & Nichols. Thank you again. Gwen Brooks

    3. I believe that at that time, the Congregational Church was the "established" church in New Hampshire, with everyone taxed to support the minister.
