It is with great sadness that the family of the late LEROY VARDY of Grand Bank announces his passing at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s on Sunday August 19, 2018, at the age of 69. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are; daughter, Tina Gorman (Ben) of Wetherford, Tx.; step-sons, Paul Hillier (Betty) of Grand Bank, Dale Hillier of Montreal, John Hillier (Debbie) of Grand Bank; step-daughters, Joanne Rideout (Dave) of Grand Bank, Karen Skinner (Garry) of Grand Bank, Madonna Peach (Gerry) of Grand Bank; sister, Donna Lundrigan (Alfred) of Parker’s Cove; brothers, Onslow (Eileen) of Grand Falls, Allison (Marie) of Grand Bank and Father, Wallace Vardy (Geneva) of Grand Falls; 15 grandchildren, Rebecca, Sarah, Michael, Megan, Shawna, Steven, Michael, Spencer, Phillip, Chelsea, Cameron, Leonard, Timothy, Chris, Kent; 9 great-grandchildren, Quinton, Alex, Luke, Sydney, Ashton, Kasean, Kayden, Layra, Ira; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Lucy; mother, Hazel Vardy; son-in-law, Wayne Peach; and nephew, Travis Vardy. The Vardy Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand Bank at a date and time to be announced. Funeral Service will take place from St. Alban’s Anglican Church in Grand Bank at a date and time to be announced. Interment to follow at St. Alban’s Anglican Cemetery.
