It is with great sadness that the family of the late W. GEORGE FIZZARD of Grand Bank announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Heath Care Centre in Burin on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at the age of 73. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are; wife Faye of 46 years; son, Sheldon (Andrea) of Regina, Sask.; sisters, Betty Trimm, Harriett Savoury (Charle); brother, Frank ‘Red‘ (Jackie); 3 grandchildren, Caitlin, Emma, Benjamin; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John & Emily Fizzard; brothers, Stanley, William, Norman; brother-in-law, George Trimm; sister-in-law, Georgie Fizzard. The Fizzard Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand Bank on Sunday, August 12th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Monday, August 13th from 10:00am to 12:00pm where the Funeral Service will take place on Monday, August 13th, at 2:00pm.
