It is with broken hearts that the family of the late SARAH JANE HILLIER of Grand Bank announces her passing. Sarah passed away at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on July 19, 2018 at the age of 88. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are; sons, Isaac of Brooks, AB, and Chesley (Sarah) of Grand Bank; daughters, Elizabeth Stacey (Peter) of Point May, Bertha Snook (Jerry) of Grand Bank, Eleanor Clouter (Raymond) of Fortune and Arlene Hillier of Bonavista; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren; brother, Ralph Douglas (Mae); plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Sarah was predeceased by her husband Abraham George of 42 years; sons Johnny and Chesley; brother Garfield; sister-in-law Eleanor; grandson Tyler; and parents Isaac and Elizabeth Douglas. The Hillier Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Grand Bank on Saturday, July 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Alban’s Anglican Church in Grand Bank on Monday, July 23 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Alban’s Anglican Cemetery in Grand Bank, In Sarah’s memory donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
