It is with great sadness that the family of the late CAPTAIN WILLIAM THOMAS COX of Grand Bank, formerly of Wreck Cove, announces his sudden passing on Friday, July 13, 2018, at the age of 68. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: wife, Phoebe of 47 years; sons, Andrew (Heather) of Beaumont, AB., Jamey (Vicky) of Leduc County, AB.; daughter, Tracey Thornhill (Ross) of Torbay, NL.; father, Garfield Cox Sr.; sisters, Evelyn Snook (Arthur), Linda Bennett (Otto); brothers, Garfield Jr. (Lillian), Robert (Maisie) Melvin (Patsy); sister-in-law, Cindy Cox; 7 grandchildren, Isabella, David, Kayla, Alexander, Kaia, Lexi, Gavin; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Bertha Cox; brother, Randolph Cox; nieces, Judy Cox, Dana Cox; nephews, Anthony Cox, Dwayne Snook; parents-n-law, Philip & Susannah Blagdon; and sisters-in-law, Bella Cox, Selina Sutlick. The Cox Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand Bank at a time and date to be announced.
